JESSIE VICKERS!!!

Here is the sweet story she sent me on their engagement story, along with a few photos from her proposal :)

"My name is Jessie Vickers and I got engaged to my high school sweet heart, Jeremy Krakosky on May 10, 2016. 

Jeremy and I met through mutual friends in high school. I was a junior at Waxahachie High and he was a senior at Red Oak (high school rivalry!). He was planning on attending Texas Tech and I had another year of high school-so I was convinced it wasn't going to work out. I denied him 3 times! Finally, I decided to give him a chance and I am SO glad I did! A year later, I joined him at Tech and we have made our best memories here in Lubbock. 

I skipped a year of college thanks to dual credit, so we both graduated this past May. Right before I graduated, Jeremy took me around campus to take senior pictures and reminisce our beautiful campus. Throughout college, Jeremy worked for the school newspaper, The Daily Toreador, and worked closely with the football team. He informed me a co-worker left the stadium open for senior pictures. We got to tour the stadium, just the two of us, and take pictures. On the 50 yard line, he proposed. BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE! So many happy tears. After the engagement, he had gotten our friends all together and planned an engagement party. 

I am currently attending graduate school at TTUHSC to become a speech-language pathologist and he is training to become a manager of Sherwin Williams. Because I am attending school and he isn't quite sure what store he will be managing, we don't have a date planned yet. But I can't wait to see what God has in store for us and our marriage. We hope you will consider us for your engagement session! We know Sydney and Garrett Nichols and their pictures were gorgeous, fabulous work! "

Aren't they so cute! I'm so excited to take there photos, and it def. doesn't hurt that they are fellow Red Raiders! :)

 Couple must be willing to travel to Arlington, Texas
 for their complimentary engagement session.

I have tried to do a few portrait events since I moved to this area, but I haven't had much luck with them until now. I've always heard that during the holiday season would be the busiest time of year from other fellow photographer, but never had experienced it until now. I have originally scheduled my event to be for 2 hours, but I had so many people wanting to attend that I added an extra hour. When the day arrived I got out there early, and had my area all set up, but the first person was 10 minutes late, so i began to worry that everyone forgot. When they finally arrived, it was like non stop taking photos for 3 hours with 15-20 different families. Each family was completely different, and each had its own cute little personality. I had such a great time getting to know all these people, and capturing moments for them! Even though it was crazy busy, I will def. be doing more portrait sessions!

The lady panthers are ranked number 2 in district, and are going to the playoffs! Our first playoff game is this upcoming tuesday!!!

Tuesday night was senior night for the Lady Panthers! I am so happy I got to be apart of the team and help coach these girls! The Lady panthers won, and have one more game of the season before they head to the playoffs!

The girls game against Summit was super close this round. Too close for my liking, but made it exciting! North Hills won in the long run, and has officially made it to the playoffs!

Here are some of my favorites from the game Tuesday VS Summit!

I just so happen to be the assistant basketball coach for the Varsity girls, and the JV girl's coach at North Hills Prep! I was so excited when Coach W. asked me if I wanted to take photos at the games, because sports photography is one of my first loves! Each game, I will post favorites from the game, but don't worry! I know i'm late, but I wanted to show everyone my favorite shots from 2014! I had such a fun time with every single session, and can't wait for what 2015 will bring!!

I was so happy when my Aunt emailed me to take their photos for this year! We decided to meet at the Rose Gardens in Farmers Branch, and when we got their it started pouring! Luckily, I had an umbrella, so I was able to get a few really cute shots. Right after that we ran to the car, and decided to go down the road to this place where you could drive through a christmas light show. It stopped raining when we got there, and I was glad, because this place was cute! 

 

The day finally came to photograph Lilly and Garrett's wedding. I don't think they know just how excited I was to do so! It was the dream barn wedding, and it was beautiful!  The day started off with brunch and tea at this beautiful little restaurant, then proceeded to Dillards, where all the girls got their makeup done! After that, it was game time. Their wedding was such a beautiful wedding and I was so happy I got the chance to photograph it!

This is Lilly, she has the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen, and she just happens to be one of the sweetest people in this world! Lilly drove all the way from Midland to take her bridals at the Fort Worth Botanical gardens! I was so happy that she did! I have always wanted to take photos of there, and they turned out beautiful! Lilly also chose me to photograph her wedding on November 1 ;)

This is Joe and Joan, and i was so happy that they chose me to photograph their wedding. joe is a big UT fan and Joan is a big Texas Tech fan! They had their wedding at the Texas Tech Alumni Center! Don't worry UT fans, Joe's grooms cake was a longhorn cake! After their ceremony, and reception, they had one of the most beautiful family dinners! It was such a great night!

This is Jessica and Sam, and I had the privilege to take their proposal photos, and their engagement photos. 
We all used to play golf together a few summers ago, and one day Sam called me, and told me that he wanted to propose to Jessica, and if I would help. Of course, I said yes! He decided to propose during a round of golf, and had me put the ring along with a piece of paper that said "marry me" on the flag of the 18th hole. When they got to the 9th hole, he had texted me to come up to the course. Me and my husband, along with a few other of Jessica's friends hid behind a hill till they came up. When Jessica putted her ball into the 18th hole, it was total shock. I don't think she knew what was going on, but when she turned around Sam was on his knee, and said "So, will you marry me? " That's when we all jumped out and the excitement began! Jessica and Sam are now married, and I wish them a very blessed life!

 

This is Jasmine, and she (was) a senior at Texas Tech University, but this session wasn't for her senior portraits, they were for her birthday! Man does this girl have style! She was such a sweet person, and I want to wish her luck in the real world!

This is my sweet niece Cadence :) , and also happens to be my first newborn session. I thought I did alright, what do ya'll think?

This is Chasity and Jacob, they are seriously the cutest couple I have ever photographed! Even thought they both seemed liked very shy people, it didn't matter when they were with each other! They are perfect for each other! Plus, these are some of my favorite photos I have ever taken! :) Enjoy!

I was so happy that my dear friend, Justin asked me to be their wedding photographer. We were practically best friends before college even started, and he is one of those friends that everyone should have! Such a great guy! I'm so happy that he found Annessa to spend the rest of his life with! She is such a sweet girl! 
It was such a beautiful day! 

 

Wow, I am so behind on blogging, so I am going to try to get caught up today,

This is Jacob, and he was a senior at Monterey High School. I have had the privilege of knowing him and his family for a very long time.  When I was 3 years old, I was in a car accident, and crushed my skull. Jacob's mom and dad were leaving town for a few weeks, and didn't know us at all, but they could tell our situation was bad, so they offered my parents their house to stay at while they were gone. Seriously. Two of the best people in the world, and their kids are just as great! The whole Flippin family goes out of their way to help others, and for that I am thankful!

Yesterday I got to have a session from one of my old high school friends! I love getting to catch up with old friends, and seeing where life has taken them! Yesterday's session with Amee couldn't have come at a better time, and getting to take photos lets me relax and just have fun! All of Amee's pictures turned out so good, and I am going to have a really hard time picking out my favorites!

Amee graduates from Lubbock Christian University in just a few week with an education degree! Both Amee and I are in the process of student teaching, so if was fun to hear the stories that she has been through!

I want to wish Amee good luck after graduation, and I know that she will do great!!!
